I am having one of those moments where I am completely confused with the powers that be at my job. We have to have a translation from English to a second language for something.

I had two years of the second language 20+ years ago in High School. For some reason this apparently qualifies me to be the person that takes the lead on this project.

Seriously? I don't even remember anything beyond the basics. But somehow this makes me the Subject Matter Expert. I can't stop laughing at this. It is just too absurd for words.

  1. Thinking back to your teacher Ms. P, it makes me think of our gym teacher, Mrs. W., who gave me the very best advice ever (and if I see her at Mr. G's memorial service, I will tell her this!): NEVER VOLUNTEER. I know a smattering of several languages, and I know what a sticky trap you're in at the moment! UGH!

  2. I didn't volunteer. I promise you that. This was months in an effort to cover this somehow. Apparently I am it.

  3. I would dummy up and be all like "Donde esta casa de Pepe?"
